WEMC director in Ireland's Triathlon European and World Championship Team 2010

WEMC Company Director Chris Coyle has been selected to represent Ireland at the European Triathlon Championships held in Athlone, Ireland and the World Triathlon Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

WEMC will be supporting Chris' participation in these events and wish the Irish Triathlon Team every success in these upcoming events.

WEMC sponsor Castlebar Cycling Club's entry in the 2009 FBD RAS

In May 2009, WEMC were the main sponsors for the Castlebar Cycling Club participation in the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) World Ranked FBD RAS cycling race.

This gruelling event hosted a field of 165 riders including cyclists from continental professional teams as well as amateur national teams and amateur Irish county teams. The overall distance covered was 1289 kilometres in 8 days with an impressive average speed of just under 45km/hr.

Not only did WEMC support the Castlebar entry, Company Director Chris Coyle was also a team member finishing in the highest position for the Castlebar team (68th overall and 2nd in his entry category).
